Fazer: a paradise for the sweet tooth
In October this year, the famous confectionery Fazer opens a new center for visitors who are able to get acquainted with the long history of the company, its innovative techniques and, of course, a wide range.
A month earlier, in September, Fazer will celebrate the 125th anniversary since the opening of a Russian-French cafe by Charles Fazer on one of the central streets of Helsinki. Until now, Fazer, has received worldwide recognition, is a family business and, in addition to products from chocolate, their produce cakes, bread and crackers for adherents of a healthy lifestyle, as well as frozen food.
The new center will offer entertaining hour guided tours that all comers – both individually and in groups, can visit. At your service there are also meeting rooms, where you can negotiate or celebrate children’s birthday; store, which presents the most widely range of Fazer products, and all kinds of cooking classes. The Finnish Bureau K2S, created the famous Chapel of silence in the central metropolitan area of ??Kamppi, is responsible for exterior and interior architecture of the new center.
Fazer Center is located at: Fazerintie 6, Vantaa. Opening hours: Monday to Friday – from 9.00 am to 19.00 pm; on Saturdays – from 10.00 am to 18.00 pm; on Sundays – from 12.00 am to 18.00 pm. Entrance: $ 12, – for adults, $ 8, – for children since 7 till 17 years old, children under 7 years old – free of charge.
